Founded in 2003, Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is a family preservation movement passionate about reframing how families are served and supported when facing significant life stressors. Rooted in faith and fueled by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion, we seek to build a support network around isolated parents so they can get back on their feet. Our goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce the number of children unnecessarily entering foster care, and strengthen and stabilize families. With over 96 chapters nationwide, we have served over 83,000 children and families, with a 98% family reunification rate. Safe Families for Children also has a global presence with chapters in the United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Thialand, the Philippines, Uganda, and beyond.
